The idea for à la fin du monde was an idea born one morning over bacon, eggs, biscuits, and coffee at Ella's, one of our favorite brunch spots in San Francisco. Feeling slightly overwhelmed at the amount of stuff on sale in most shops, we wanted to open an online store selling only a small selection of handpicked, well crafted items reflecting our tastes in music, art, books, style, and design.
à la fin du monde is owned and run by husband and wife team Chris and Sharareh Koehler. When he's not running the site and working his web magic, Chris can be found illustrating up a storm at chriskoehler.com. Sharareh maintains à la fin du monde's blog and recently launched a clothing line under her maiden name, Lotfi. Her work can be seen at lotfilotfi.com.
