shortcake

I made strawberry shortcake last night, using this recipe from Orangette. Delicious! I had some again this morning for breakfast with a cup of coffee from Sightglass, which is not Chris's favorite source of coffee beans.

I realized that a lot of pictures on the blog lately feature the blue table in our kitchen. Well, we spend a lot of time in the kitchen! The table came from Chris's grandmother, and he remembers eating around it in her kitchen growing up. I love having things like that around the house.
